retention specialist. This individual will maintain and strengthen relationships with our
CAREGivers by administering our extensive training and education program.
Experience with retaining employees, strong presentation skills and a background in
human resources highly preferred.

Home Instead Senior Care
Retention Coordinator
The Retention Coordinator is expected to perform a variety of duties in the
retention of CAREGivers. The Retention Coordinator is expected to
assist in recruiting, screening, hiring, training and retaining a staff of
CAREGivers in order to provide the highest quality service to clients.
Primary
• Conduct character reference, criminal background and motor
vehicle checks on all CAREGivers
• Schedule and conduct CAREGiver orientation and all
training including GRAD 1 & 2, Safety, CAREGiver Activity
Training Guide and Alzheimer’s training
• Plan and successfully execute quarterly CAREGiver
meetings
• Prepare and publish the monthly newsletter within the
deadline
• Evaluate and update all orientation and training materials as
needed
• Assist in new CAREGiver orientation process
• Assist in coordinating, monitoring, and evaluating the efforts
of attracting new CAREGivers.
• Administer and conduct all CAREGiver recognition
programs
• Coordinate and conduct CAREGiver progress and support
programs
Secondary
• Answer each employment inquiry in a friendly, professional
and knowledgeable manner.
• Assist with new CAREGiver recruitment activities
