Dining Room Supervisor - Private Boarding School - Full-time

Monday thru Friday // 2:00 pm - 8:00 pm // Benefits // Unique Site // Great Schedule Premier mid - Atlantic foodservice management company is recruiting for the above position to staff a unit in our private and independent schools division. Located in Pride's Crossing on the north shore, this private boarding school regularly serves breakfast, lunch and dinner to a population of 350 high school students and faculty. The Dinner Supervisor will assume responsibility for the oversight and direction of dining room operations during the dinner meal period. They must be upbeat, flexible and willing to adapt to last minute changes and pop up events. This position requires a candidate with experience in catering and dining room management to include giving guidance and direction to others, troubleshooting problems and resolving them quickly as well as a working knowledge of food preparation techniques, safety and sanitation standards. Duties would include meal set up, proper labeling of menu items, overseeing action stations and dining room maintenance and break down at the end of the meal. It is key that the hired individual maintain the highest standards of food quality, presentation, sanitation and safety and have regard for serving a student population and to engage them in a courteous, helpful and friendly manner at all times.
