About this job


The Director of Data Analysis will be responsible for research projects, statistical analysis, ad hoc data analysis and reporting related to quality of care measurement for a multi-year contract with the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services.


 


Analysis of data will include determination of viability and reliability of current and proposed measurement criteria.


 


Additional responsibilities include creating and updating measure specifications and assisting with Tier II help desk support for quality measures.


 


This position will work with CMS personnel and other contractors to determine requirements, specifications, deliverables and reporting.

Requirements



  • Bachelor's degree is required for this role; clinical experience is desired.


  • Minimum of 5 years of healthcare analytics design and management is required.


  • 3 years of experience with Data analytic/statistical tools is required.


  • Data analysis, interpretation and presentation skills & experience necessary to succeed.


  • Clinical/Administrative content evaluation and design is required.


  • Experience with federal health quality program guidelines and implementation highly desired.


  • Minimum 8+ years data analysis experience required.


  • Minimum 5 years quality measurement experience working with national quality measures is required.


  • MS Office proficiency is required with Word, Excel, Access and PowerPoint; Visio experience is a plus.


  • 3 years of experience working on CMS contracts would be beneficial.


  • Proven organizational skills with ability to be flexible and work with ambiguity.
