This is a fast-paced, highly visible role for only the most polished Administrative Assistant. This role requires a high level of professionalism in person and on the phone. The Administrative Assistant will provide support to approximately 20 individuals in the Small Business Sales and Account Management team.

Primary Responsibilities:
Ability to handle highly confidential information discretely.
Interact with individuals at all levels of the organization.
Answer incoming calls and facilitate handling of requests for information.
Evaluate calls in terms of importance and use independent judgment to take action.
Prepare presentations, letters, memos, contracts, reports, and charts using MS Office.
Coordinate travel and prepare expense reports.
Monitor email, eliminate spam and identify urgent requests.
Make meeting arrangements and coordinate changes in meeting schedules.
Greet visiting clients, guests and employees.
Prepare outgoing mail, including overnight express.
Independently perform varied administrative duties related to functional area.
Maintain filing systems.
Work effectively as an integral member of a team.
Maintain a high level of organization and attention to detail.
Support Business Segment Liaison (BSL) functions, i.e., assist with onboarding new employees, computers, phones, etc. 
Ability to create excel spreadsheets to manage key department data.
Database management and ability to create an access database.

Requirements

High school education or GED
Intermediate proficiency in Word, Outlook, PowerPoint and Excel
2+ years in Administrative role
Excellent verbal and written communication skills required
Intermediate proficiency in Word, Outlook, Excel and Access Database



Preferred:
3+ experience supporting multiple senior leadership


Undergraduate degree


Health care experience 
Experience working in a matrix environment
