We are currently hiring a Senior IT Project Manager at Humedica.  In this position you will oversee a high priority project working in a group that is poised for continuous growth.  You will work with internal Humedica and Optum teams who serve key pharmaceutical companies and world class research organizations to help make a difference in this world. 


 


The DDR Team Project Manager is responsible for the overall planning, coordination, tracking, and documentation of activities related to the creation, maintenance, growth and release of the deidentified data set.  This includes scheduling and coordination of deliverables from a distributed team within Data Management, Data Quality Analytics, and Clinical Informatics.  The release of the deidentified data is critical for both Humedica and Optum Corporate Development and Life Sciences divisions.  The data is also delivered to other key groups within Optum.  The Project Manager will also coordinate the growth of the asset via review and approval of the requested changes to the Data Dictionary by the outside expert statistician.


 


Main Job Tasks and Responsibilities:



  • Plan, schedule, track, monitor and escalate issues experienced during the monthly data releases

  • Represent the DDR team at cross functional meetings on new data requirements and improvements to the data in the underlying CDR
    Track issues reported in the Common Data Repository that may impact the DDR release

  • Track interim data release progress in a visually accessible manner to ensure progress is visible to all interested parties. 

  • Work with the DDR Clinical Data Analyst to coordinate research into the new data areas and concepts for inclusion in the DDR as requested by the Life Sciences department.

  • Utilize Statistical Process Control methods to identify ways to continuously improve the release process.

  • Work with the Data Quality Assurance team to ensure the quality verification steps are completed and appropriate for release of a high quality, statistically deidentified, and  immediately accessible deliverable.

  • Monitor requests for data dictionary changes, review Data Dictionary documentation to be submitted for quality and clarity, and track certification process to completion.

  • Notify team when approval received and ensure changes approved are implemented.

  • Track and store DDR release documentation for the Quality Management System. 

  • Regularly confer with internal customers to see if the steps/documentation is supporting the needs of the end users (LS and Other Markets) and confirm that the dCDR release process is achieving its goals.

Requirements

Requirements:



  • 3+ years of experience working as a Project Manager in a software company

  • 2+ years of experience as a Project Manager working on product releases

  • 2+ years of experience working in a software company dealing with medical information

  • 2+ years of experience with documentation of procedures and policies, and release documentation

Assets:



  • Experience working in a highly matrixed organization

  • Experience working in a small start-up environment

  • Change control/ process improvement experience (Six Sigma, ITIL)

  • Experience using SharePoint and MS Project

  • Experience using JIRA
