Nutrition Specialist - Registered Dietitian
Responsibilities:
The Nutrition Support Specialist is responsible for:
- Providing educational opportunities to customers in our client cafes; stay abreast of current research related to nutirition, health and wellness and be sure messageing and content reflect the current state of the science.
- Review nutrition and wellness offerings in client cafes and report on findings using a survey tool.
- Provide staff tarings on nutriton and wellness to front line staff in cafe locations.
Education/Background:
- RD Credentialed, completion of an accredited dietetic internship program.
Qualifications:
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to convey nutrition information in a way that is easily understood by the general public.
- Ability to offer a balanced approach to health and wellness and possess a strong interest in culinary arts.
- Must possess strong knowledge of nutriton and health related matters with the ability to resond to customer questions in a balanced, clear and straightforward manner.
Position Hours:
- Approximately 6-8 hours per week during the time period of 10:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. During the Tuesday through Thursday workweek.
- On Call Basis
