Spartan is currently hiring Production Workers for a local printing company in Porter, IN.
Job Description
Production Worker will work in the ArtRoom, Screen printing department, shipping or finishing department in a graphics company. Duties may include, but are not limited to:
- Watch machines to ensure vinyl designs are cut correctly
- Lift rolls of vinyl onto press
- Catch and stack sheets coming off the press
- Quality Assurance work
- Assist the printer at the press with materials and other duties
- Peel excess decals away from cut piece of vinyl
- Packaging product to prepare for shipment
- Inventory control
Job Requirements
- Ability to lift 50lbs
- Good attention to detail and judgment of color
- Ability to stoop, squat, bend and/or stand for long periods of time
- Willingness to do tedious work
- Have good hand-eye coordination and ability to manipulate small objects with your hands
- Have good math skills to work in shipping department
Ideal Warehouse Associate Candidates
- Relevant experience preferred
- Committed to safety at all times
- Excellent attendance
Pay Rate: $8 hour
Shift/Hours: 1st shift Monday - Friday
