Assistant Director of Services - The Roosevelt Hotel New York, NY

Assistant Executive Housekeeper is responsible for: ensuring the housekeeping team cleans and maintains guestrooms and public areas; and adhering to IHR's high standards of service and cleaning standards. A minimum of 3 years hotel housekeeping experience and two+ years of supervisory experience in a related field required.

The Assistant Director of Services requires 3-6 years of housekeeping management experience, preferably in a 500+ room hotel. The individual will assist in recruiting, hiring, training, motivating and coaching a team of 200+ associates. Will also assist in ensuring compliance with accident prevention programs, LSOP's and SOP's and health and sanitation regulations to achieve a high level of cleanliness and guest satisfaction. The candidate must have union experience and be knowledgeable of operating systems and procedures. A strong financial acumen including scheduling, forecasting, labor/expense control, and ensuring compliance with accident / loss prevention programs is preferred. Individual will be well organized, detail oriented, and personable and will have a minimum 2-year college degree.
