THERE'S NOTHING LIKE WORKING AT KRYSTAL

The Shift Leader position exists to supervise floor operations during various shifts and perform administrative functions.  The shift leader adheres to all operational standards for customer service, food preparation, inventory control, product quality, and store cleanliness.  The shift leader provides support, direction and assistance to all hourly employees on all areas of their assigned duties.  May problem-solve and make decisions in the absence of AGM or GM and perform other duties as assigned.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Implements and monitors the 9 Operating Systems and provides complete floor leadership for all hourly employees on his/her shift and is accountable for maintaining restaurant and equipment cleanliness to Q.S.C. standards.
  • Is accountable for ensuring proper execution of all customer‐related needs and/or concerns occurring during his/her shift.
  • Takes an active role in all phases of hourly employee training and maintains effective work group through positive coaching, counseling and positive discipline.
  • Enforces all cash handling procedures in accordance with existing Krystal Company policy and procedure.
  • Uses Company approved labor management guidelines and systems and adjusts labor to changes in sales and customer flow.

Requirements

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • High School Diploma or G.E.D. preferred
  • ServSafe Certification required
  • Completion of Krystal’s Shift Leader Training Program
  • Previous restaurant experience desirable
  • Qualified as a Shift Leader
  • Ability to perform Standards Assessment
  • Must be able to perform the essential functions of the position.
  • Must possess excellent customer service skills
  • Must possess valid driver’s license and the ability to operate a motor vehicle (car, truck) –
  • motorcycles or public transportation are not classified as a motor vehicle for this position.
  • Experience operating a POS
  • Computer skills
  • Experience using machines, tools and equipment necessary to perform the job duties.
  • Experience with food products and cleaning supplies.
