Manpower is looking for a Facilities Lead position for a client in Silver Spring, MD area! The Facilities Lead will perform scheduled, routine preventive maintenance on mechanical or electrical equipment/systems under contract agreement by inspecting, adjusting, cleaning and calibrating systems and checking out equipment to ensure it's in satisfactory working order. Responsibilities: * Perform scheduled routine preventive maintenance on mechanical or electrical equipment/systems under contract agreement by inspecting, adjusting, cleaning and calibrating systems and checking out equipment to ensure it's in satisfactory working order. * Completes maintenance, within assigned labor load PM hours, in a manner that reduces emergency calls and results in achieving the goal of zero calls back. * Responds to emergency service calls as directed to keep system downtime to minimum. Analyzes, trouble-shoots, repairs and restores equipment/systems to full operation and recommends revisions/replacements when necessary to improve system. * Makes minor to complex repairs to mechanical units, remotes, I/O equipment, CPUs and software systems. Replaces complex or irreparable units and returns them to the branch. * Performs or assists with engineering, planning, scheduling, and installing simple to complex systems or modifications to existing systems. May plan, schedule, and lay out complex electrical equipment installations. * Instructs and/or trains customers or customer representatives on systems maintenance and operating procedures. * Promotes, builds and maintains good customer relations and assists in contract retention; informs supervisor or customer needs, requirements, systems status, and actual or potential customer problems. Basic Qualifications: * High School diploma or GED. * 5 years related mechanical and HVAC Direct Digital Controls (DDC) experience required. * Must be able to receive A HSPD-12 Clearance. * Must be US Citizen or have minimum 3 years US residency and eligible to work in the US. Preferred Qualifications: * Technical knowledge of HVAC, electronic and mechanical systems and/or Direct Digital Controls Systems. * In-depth knowledge of HVAC controls, and computer systems. * Working knowledge of low voltage circuitry and logical troubleshooting. * Knowledge and experience with Metasys extended architect and associated controls. * Experience in graphic creation, point mapping, creating program files for various application specific controllers and extended digital plant controllers. * Ability to read and write logic connector tools (LCT's). * Ability to read and understand blueprints and various sequences of operation. * Troubleshooting experience in database maintenance. * Network experience with TCP/IP communications and supervisory devices. * Familiarity with standard control products based on Tridium , Echelon, Lonmark, ModBus, BACnet or other open technologies for Building automation/integration solutions * Excellent oral, written, phone and Customer-relations skills * Primary orientation towards process/systems, speed, cost quality and customer value creation, and results * Teamwork capabilities/Ability to work collaboratively Adapt well to change, flexibility and resilience * Self-directed Self-Taught/independent learner * Operational planning and execution skills * Excellent time management and organizational skills * Computer literate in MS Word, Excel and Outlook This is a great temp to perm opportunity for the right candidate!!
