Technical Servies Rep

The selected individuals will work on various client sponsored or customer founded programs such as: * Establish and monitor Inventory requirements and issue reports * Monitor all daily plant Quality Operating Systems and compile trend reports to present to the customer and the client management. * Assist in troubleshooting activity for problem resolution for all quality, cost, maintenance and other diagnostic opportunities. * The incumbents are the primary point of contact between the client and their customers. The incumbents have primary responsibility for providing technical service and counsel to our customers regarding the operation of their paint lines. The customers hold the incumbent accountable for providing a product that performs well within their paint finishing operations. The incumbents are looked upon to provide the customer with a product and technical know how to make sure the client's coatings outperform competitive coatings in the area of first run capability, reject rates, surface finish, and ease of use (workability/robustness). * Incumbents have wide freedom to act in their areas of expertise. Typically customers hold incumbents accountable for producing parts with a high quality finish at low reject rates. While incumbents do not have direct authority to control customer operations they are expected to implement solutions to customer production problems. This accountability without direct authority requires the incumbent to provide an extremely thorough analysis of the problem before recommending a course of action. Usually incumbents are under urgent time constraints to implement corrective action. Incorrect or slow corrective action will result in debits or charge backs to the client. The incumbents are called upon to both resolve a crisis and to implement corrective action which prevents the crisis from recurring. Resolving a crisis frequently requires the incumbent to be available on very short notice and at inconvenient times - essentially whenever the customer needs assistance. A customer with 2nd and 3rd shift operations often requires the incumbent to be on call. * These positions are key to customer satisfaction. the client utilizes these positions to differentiate itself from its competitors. Incumbents must be self-motivated and able to work independently. They must also have an unselfish work ethic, a strong sense of self-accomplishment, and have strong problem solving and communication skills. Acts as technical expert to explain products and answer questions and concerns. Responsible for ensuring that customers receive an adequate level of service or help with their questions and concerns. Pay is between $18 - $22 per hour depending upon experience.
