Responsibilities
Responsible for planning, directing and coordinating activities for multiple projects in a program to ensure that project goals are accomplished by performing the following duties personally or through working with other team members. Execute special projects as required.
- Plans, directs and coordinates all activates of technology service delivery projects through all phases of a program from inception through completion
- Consults with management and the sales teams to review service delivery project proposals to determine goals, time-frame, funding limitations, and procedures for accomplishing tasks, staffing requirements, allotment of resources, and the projects priority and feasibility within the program objectives
- Develops project plans specifying goals, staffing, scheduling and allocation of available resources
- Formulates and defines technical scope and objectives of the program and its related projects
- Identifies and schedules project deliverables, milestones, and required tasks related to the program
- Coordinates and responds to requests for changes from original specifications
- Monitors project results
- Develops quality assurance plans
- Develops communication plans
- Develops risk analysis and mitigation strategies
- Tracks lessons learned and develops improvement plans
- Coordinates recruitment or assignment of project personnel
- Assigns duties, responsibilities, and scope of authority to project personnel
- Confers with project personnel to provide technical advice and resolve problems
- Directs and coordinates activities of project personnel to ensure project progresses on schedule and within budget
- Communicate directly with program stakeholders to ensure scope, timeline, and budget stability
- Establishes standards and procedures for project reporting and documentation
- Reviews status reports prepared by project personnel and modifies schedules and plans as required
- Prepares project status reports and keeps management, clients, and others informed of project status and related issues
- Develops and maintains technical and project documentation
- Provide periodic reporting and trend analysis for Management review and consideration
- Perform other related duties incidental to the work described herein
- Assume other duties as assigned by the Manager, Program Management Office, and Service Delivery
- Actively work on teaming and team building within the organization and across other TMRK functional areas
- Participate, as required, on teaming initiatives with customers, vendors and community organizations
Qualifications
Basic Qualifications
- AA degree minimum or 8 years equivalent experience
- 3+ years’ experience in technology in large enterprise setting
- 5+ years’ experience in Project Management
- 5+ years utilizing MS Project
- Excellent written and verbal skills
- Ability to manage multiple simultaneous projects
- Demonstrated capacity to tailor communications to the audience
- Willingness to develop and use standards and policies
- Capable of managing deliverables across multiple levels of management
- High level of familiarity with ITIL and ISO framework and standards
Preferred Qualifications/Experience
- Graduate Degree and/or PMI Certification are preferred
- ITIL v3 certification
- Cloud, Data Center, Colocation experience
- Ability to work independently
- Superior attention to details
- High level technical understanding of networks/servers/cloud/storage preferred
- Strong leadership and analytical skills
- Great planning and organizational skills
