What a wonderful organization!  A central Ohio nonprofit organization that transforms lives through therapeutic golf for persons of all ages, disabilities and economic backgrounds since 1989.  This company is seeking a full-time, Administrative Assistant with bookkeeping responsibilities. 

Reporting to the Executive Director, the Administrative Assistant is responsible for all day-to-day work related tasks of the organization.  This position includes support of handling customer service, accounting, database management (Access), fundraising, program, marketing, board and volunteer development.  This individual will work hand in hand with The Executive Director and Program Director. 

The bookkeeper duties of this Administrative Assistant position will include the handling of accounts payable/receivable, thank you letter to donors, work with CPA for monthly financial reports and create various reports for board and staff review.  Fiscal year runs January 1 through December 31. The individual in this administrative position must be proficient in administrating QuickBooks. 

This office will be a three-person office so this individual should be comfortable performing a wide variety of responsibilities as directed.  Due to the nature of the organization, this Administrative Assistant should also enjoy interacting with a diverse population of clients, donors and families. The ideal person for this position is someone who is a self-starter, performs a variety of tasks simultaneously, willing to "own” the above responsibilities, work independently, and appreciates and understands the non-profit work environment. 

The Administrative Assistant will work approximately 36-40 hours per week.  This position does include health benefits and compensation is competitive within the industry.
