Nordstrom offers selling positions in the Wedding Suite that include Wedding Stylists. This individual will cross sell from all departments in the store to meet your customers' wedding related needs. The ideal candidate is motivated, enjoys working one on one with customers and thrives in a commissioned sales environment. Responsibilities
  • Maintain a fashionable and professional image and be a customer service role model
  • Consistently seek new fashion and product knowledge to act as an expert for the customer
  • Search for innovative ways to increase business through use of Personal Book, store traffic, customer referrals, website requests and personal networking
  • Provide expertise and honest confident feedback regarding merchandise style and fit
  • Wardrobe every customer for all ancillary events surrounding the wedding day
  • Use directive selling skills through cross, team and on-line selling to maximize the customer's wardrobe needs
  • Build lasting relationships by contacting customers to follow up on purchases, suggest new merchandise and invite them to upcoming store events related to their wedding event
  • Demonstrate leadership in your Wedding Suite while selling throughout the entire store
  • Set and achieve personal daily, monthly, yearly and special event goals

Qualifications
  • Superior selling and listening skills
  • Confident in selling all price points in all departments
  • Strong ability and experience working in a fast paced environment
  • Proficiency in basic computer skills
  • Proven ability to set and achieve sales and cross selling goals
  • Competitive drive and entrepreneurial confidence to succeed in a commission-based environment
  • Proven ability to develop extensive relationships with customers
  • Knowledgeable and enthusiastic about the wedding industry
  • Strong organizational and follow-through skills
  • Proven ability to provide consistent communication throughout the entire life of the event
  • Excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills
