OVERVIEW:

The usage of RFID technology allows for faster and more frequent inventory counts to ensure inventory accuracy. The RFID associate will be responsible for utilizing this technology to help improve replenishment to ensure we have what the customer wants in stock and to drive sales.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
  • Maintain customer service as the top priority
  • Project a courteous and professional demeanor to all internal and external customers
  • Re-ticket any items that are missing RFID tags or if information on the tag is incorrect
  • Act as scan leader for both the prep and cycle count process
  • Ensure the monthly cycle count is executed according to stores Best Practice guidelines, in all identified zones.
  • Assist in reconciliation following submission of cycle count, if necessary
  • Work with stores team in maintaining reserve areas
  • Monitor RFID audit process
  • Help in training support associates on all RFID functions
  • Answer any questions sales/support associates might have about the RFID process as needed
  • Be sensitive to the needs of the store and flex into other non-selling areas as needed
  • Ensure that shortage prevention initiatives are executed
  • Perform other duties as needed
  • Regular, dependable attendance and punctuality

QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Education/Experience:

High School degree or equivalent. Minimum 1 year previous merchandising or retail operations experience. Exceptional customer service skills.

  • Communication Skills:

Ability to effectively communicate and present information to customers, peers and all levels of management.

  • Mathematical Skills:

Basic math functions such as addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division. Able to use a calculator.

  • Reasoning Ability:

Self-starter, able to work independently and as part of a team.

  • Physical Demands:

This position requires heavy lifting and constant moving and standing. Must be able to stand for at least two consecutive hours. Must be able to lift at least 30 lbs. May occasionally be required to stoop, kneel, crouch, and climb ladders. May have to reach above eye level

  • Other skills:

Ability to train, assist and advise associates. Ability to delegate and follow through on projects in a timely manner. Should be comfortable with the use of computers and frequent use of RF equipment.

  • Work Hours:

Flexible with scheduling and available to work retail hours, which may include day, evening, weekends, and/or holidays.
