Occupational Therapist - Acute - (OT - Acute)
StartDate: ASAP Available Shifts: 8 D Pay Rate: $41.00-43.50 *

Acute hospital is looking for a highly motivated and energetic Occupational Therapist to join the team in their Acute Rehab unit. Candidates must be willing to support a friendly, positive and professional environment.

An occupational therapist (OT) is responsible for providing assistance to patients who need help performing a wide variety of activities, especially daily needs (e.g., dressing, cooking, eating, driving, etc.) and motor skills. In addition, occupational therapy requires an OT to perform comprehensive at-home and job-site evaluations, and maintain an open line of communication with patients’ family members and caregivers. They may have a number of specialties, including:
  • Acute
  • Hand
  • Home health
  • Long-term care
  • Outpatient
  • Pediatric
  • Psychiatric
  • Rehabilitation
  • School


Required Qualifications
- WA License Required

Preferred Qualifications
- Prefer Acute Rehab or Inpatient Rehab experience

Accredited by The Joint Commission and the Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities (CARF), this Seattle area-based hospital facility provides a full spectrum of inpatient and outpatient care, including cancer, cardiovascular, behavioral health, orthopedics, and family and women's care. Licensed for 223 beds, this hospital also features a children’s therapy unit, family birth center, and 24-hour emergency care.
