Labor & Delivery Nurse - (LD RN)
StartDate: ASAP Available Shifts: 12 N Pay Rate: $34.00 *
This top-ranked Labor and Delivery (LD) unit is ready to welcome a new member to their team. With patient care deeply rooted in compassion, innovation and passion for great outcomes, you'll find a challenging and rewarding environment. This unit handles 2050-300 births per month in a caring and high-tech environment. Applicants should also be prepared to handle high-risk pregnancies. This position presents a great opportunity for a strong LD Travel RN to learn the latest technologies while providing excellent care within a passionate team environment. Click apply to learn more!
Labor and delivery (LD) nurses provide care to women and their newborns during the antepartum, intrapartum, postpartum and neonatal stages. They provide support and monitor vital signs of the mother and baby during birth and deal with any potential problems. They may also provide support and education to mothers and their families after giving birth. LD nurses are found in hospitals, clinics and physician offices, and maternity or birthing centers.
Required Qualifications
1. CA RN license
2. NRP
3. We are Baby Friendly- RN must be comfortable and adept at supporting breast feeding.
Preferred Qualifications
Helpful to know California mandated CCHD testing (congential cardiac heart disease) as we do it here.
Helpful to know Meditech.
