Aerotek Aviation is currently seeking candidates for a long term contract warehouse opportunity.
***QUALIFIED CANDIDATES MUST HAVE EXPERIENCE IN A MILITARY LOGISTICS / WAREHOUSE ENVIRONMENT
Our client currently stores, inventories, and ships supplies and parts for a USMC aircraft out of their Havelock facility. It is a very large and valuable inventory that is still being counted and organized at the same time as pieces are picked and shipped to squadron.
Duties:
*Ensure that all inventory is properly categorized and accounted for
*Receive inventory and ensure that the entire shipment is unloaded
*Unload inventory from trucks
*Stock inventory onto proper shelf location
*Pick inventory for shipment to customers or repair vendors
*Perform inventory cycle counts
*Research missing parts and report any discrepancies
*Operate forklift equipment
Characteristic of a warehouse setting, routinely sitting, standing, bending, lifting objects up to 70 lbs.
*Hours are 7AM - 3:30PM, Monday-Friday
Qualifications
*4+ years warehouse/logistics experience
*1+ years military logistics experience
*Forklift experience and/or certification is a plus
Performance Expectations
*Our client is looking for a great employee who will show up everyday, committed to being there for the entire project regardless if it is 3 months or 12+ months (VERY STABLE WORK FOR 1.5 YEARS)
*Sense of urgency
