JOB TITLE: Manager, Finance Operations

PURPOSE/OVERALL OBJECTIVE:
The Manager of Finance Operations Systems Support will provide support to the Business Service Finance Operations in a fast paced, high performance demand environment. This position will manage requests from Finance Operations groups which include Billing, Account Receivable, Collections, Metric Performance and Reporting, and Revenue Assurance. This includes all commercial billing platforms and other systems used commercial Finance Operations. Project schedules, tracking and status reporting for executive management reporting will be used to provide weekly/monthly status.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Primary lead supporting Business Services Finance Operations Sr. Manager for Collections on the roll out and standardization of collections process, procedures, reporting, etc. in all commercial billing platforms. This includes technical support and subject matter expertise for billing system configuration, development, testing, and on-going maintenance.
- Responsible for Financial SRT (system readiness testing) within each commercial billing platform, for new product launches, system enhancements impacting AR, Collections, Billing and Invoicing, as well as coordination with other groups performing SRT testing.
- Provide technical support to Finance Operations operational managers for various payment services commercial billing platform initiatives and associated vendor implementations.
- Write technical requirements and work with developers on custom reporting programming needs within all commercial billing platforms in support of finance operations manager requests.
- Support direct manager requests, and provide subject matter expertise to Finance Operations operational managers on assigned projects and prioritized tasks, provide status updates for assigned projects and tasks as defined by manager or operational support owners.
- Provide direct manager with assistance with the preparation and management of expense budgets for staff including training, tools and travel
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS/ YEARS OF MINIMUM RELEVANT EXPERIENCE:
- 3 to7 years ' experience within Finance Operations functions including billing, accounts receivable, and collections Ability to manage and track multiple tasks simultaneously

- Proficiency with MS Office software including spreadsheet (Excel), presentation software (PowerPoint), document (MS Word) and process flow ( VISIO)

- Must possess strong working knowledge of TWC commercial billing platforms

- Strong technical knowledge of cable industry applications and services is highly desired

- Good written and verbal communications skills

- Ability to explain complex technical information to non-technical entities in " plain language "

- Proven project support and leadership skills

- Consistent exercise of independent judgment and discretion in matters of significance
REQUIRED MINIMUM EDUCATION/ AND OR CERTIFICATIONS:
Bachelor ' s degree (B. A.) from four-year College or university; or equivalent training, education and experience
