Spartan is currently hiring an experienced Maintenance Mechanic in Lenexa, KS for a reputable manufacturing facility.
Maintenance Mechanic Job Description
Maintenance Mechanic Duties may include, but are not limited to:
- Perform preventative maintenance of all machinery and equipment
- Check and repair the equipment problems reported by operators
- Modify or build equipment per instructions
- Maintain the required parts inventory, tools inventory and maintenance logs per schedule set by management
- Schedule repairs with minimal disruption to plant operations
Job Requirements
- Have full knowledge of plant flow, understanding how machinery works
- Ability to maintain and troubleshoot machine problems
- Industrial maintenance experience is required
- Welding experience
- Electrical and PLC experience
- Strong knowledge of pumping systems
- Able to stand, stoop, bend and crouch
- Willing to submit to a criminal background check and drug screen
Ideal Maintenance Mechanic Candidates
- Relevant experience preferred
- Committed to safety at all times
- Excellent attendance
Pay Rate: $14-16 hour
Shift/Hours: 7am-5pm Monday - Friday
