Oncology Nurse - (Onc RN)
StartDate: ASAP Available Shifts: 12 D, 12 N Pay Rate: $31.00 *
The elite team members of this Oncology unit are seeking a like-minded, compassionate RN to join their ranks. With a care-giving model based on optimal patient outcomes, the ideal candidate will bring experience, innovation and passion to their role.
The role of the oncology nurse (Onc RN) is to provide care for cancer patients throughout all stages of their conditions, but usually focusing on the acute phase. The Onc RN will help patients ranging from post-surgical to near-terminal manage their disease and treatment effectively, and may also be responsible for administering chemotherapy (which requires additional certification). Oncology nurses may practice in hospitals and outpatient facilities or provide home-based care.
Required Qualifications
1. Minimum 1 yrs exp required
2. MUST HAVE Oncology
3. BLS, Chemo Certified Preferred
4. OK License
5. 2 references - 1 from the most recent employer required
6. will be required to float to Sister Facilities within 25 miles of the Main Campus.
