Surgical Technologist - Cardiac Surgery - (Surg Tech)
StartDate: ASAP Available Shifts: 8 E Pay Rate: $28.00 *

Surgical technologists work under the direction of a team of surgical personnel and assist in surgical operations as needed. Surgical technicians are responsible for preparing the OR, which includes setting up surgical equipment and instruments, as well as passing those instruments to surgeons during the procedure. Settings include:
  • Ambulatory
  • OR
  • Outpatient
  • CVOR
  • First assist
  • Labor, delivery, recovery & postpartum
  • Pediatrics OR

    Required Qualifications
    Previous Heart Experience
    Provides technical surgical skills for all patient procedures during the intraoperataive phase in the cardiovascular operating room, under the direct supervision of the surgeon and/or registered nurse. Assists with set up and completion of cases, maintains sterility of field and within sterile boundary. Additional duties and assignments as determined by department and patient care needs.
