Duties Plan, organize, and conduct audits according to standards promulgated by the Institute of Internal Auditors. Analyze business processes, risks and controls to determine audit objectives. Facilitate effective communication with process owners and management through-out audits and special projects. Develop recommendations that improve adequacy/effectiveness of controls and/or efficiency of operations. Complete audit reports that are accurate, clear, concise, and grammatically correct. Meet target dates for completing field work and audit reports. Keep abreast of auditing standards, control frameworks, and applicable regulations. Evaluate work of direct reports and provide semi-annual performance appraisals.  Assist with the professional development of auditors.   Position Requirements Bachelor’s degree or higher Ideal candidates will possess professional certifications in accounting, audit, and / or fraud examinations Five years of experience in business related field with a minimum of three years in audit Operational experience in retail, manufacturing, or supply chain management will be looked upon favorably Demonstrated supervisory experience Strong verbal and written communication skills Excellent interpersonal skills  Ability to effectively interact with people of diverse professional backgrounds Pro-active work style with strong analytical skills  Desire to solve problems and improve processes    Ability to perform occasional (10 - 15%) overnight travel to audit locations             At Aaron’s, you will have access to a comprehensive benefits package that includes: ·         Life insurance ·         Disability benefits ·         Employee Purchase Discounts ·         Paid time off including vacation days, sick days and holidays ·         Ongoing training and development ·         Medical, dental & vision insurance ·         401(k) plan ·                         A drug screen and criminal background investigation are required before beginning employment at Aaron’s.  A job performance reference check is also required.   Aaron’s is an Equal Opportunity Employer
