Revenue Support Trainer
This position assists with training program development, updates existing training materials and programs, coordinates training events, delivers employee training, and recommends improvements to trainings, and supports the standard processes used to manage the overall training function. The Revenue Support Trainer is responsible to deliver training programs that support employee development and the successful transition of new employees into Apria's work environment.
  • Seeks opportunities to collaborate with the Revenue Cycle training department to recommend appropriate training recommendations and solutions
  • Collaborates with the field to gather ongoing training needs and escalates those needs to the Revenue Cycle training department
  • Reports Revenue Cycle training data and findings to training management
  • Participates in training testing and program development activities
  • Supports and follows a standard training program management process
  • Contributes to training program development
  • Effectively utilizespresentation skills to deliver training programs
  • Effectively uses consensus building and facilitation techniques to manage people and information gathering in a training setting
  • Utilizes excellent verbal and written communication skills to clearly communicate ideas
  • Communicates issues timely to supervisor
  • Utilizes effective listening techniques
  • Effectively coaches others by providing timely and effective feedback
  • Supports the company's business priorities
  • Partners with operational Supervisors and Managers for effective on-boarding, integration and transition from training to floor
  • Provides consultative support to Supervisors and Training department leaders in action planning for new hire agent success
  • Consistently displays professionalism by role modeling behavior and efficient work habits such as meeting deadlines, reporting to work on time adherence to policies, time and workload management, self management
  • Demonstrates ability to effectively manage all new hire classroom training and administrative responsibilities and contributes to management decision on terming employment for new hires as needed
  • Demonstrates a focus on self improvement in training delivery techniques
  • Trains with a reassuring coaching style while demonstrating the ability to work with all types of learning styles, speeds and personalities in learners
  • Must have the ability to travel and arrange own flight, car rental and hotel reservations for travel requests
  • Demonstrates the ability to act in emergency situations, to work effectively under high stress and to manage multiple training tasks
  • Responsible for providing an educational atmosphere that provides instructional activities that allow learners the opportunity to actively engage in the leaning process and fulfill their potential growth in knowledge of their job responsibilities
  • Collaborates with peers to enhance the instructional environment
  • Assumes responsibility for meeting his/her course and revenue cycle training performance goals
  • Meets professional obligations through efficient work habits such as: meeting deadlines, honoring schedules, coordinating
  • Teaches online courses through webinar or Sametime delivery methods
  • Performs other duties and responsibilities as assigned by supervisor



Qualifications

  • Education and experience equivalent to a four year college degree is required
  • At least one year related work experience with Apria HME/RT and/or infusion operating systems is required
  • Possesses strong oral and written communication skills
  • Strong presentation skills
  • Works independently with little direct supervision and works as part of a team
  • Displays effective multi-tasking and time management skills
  • Proven technical, functional and process skills in critical business systems (ACIS, CM, CCKB, etc.)
