Machine Operator

Spartan Staffing is seeking a Machine Operator position in Red Oak, IA. Our customer is looking to add staff that has production line experience. This is a temp to hire position, Monday - Friday , 8 hour shifts . The pay rate is $13.90 per hour.

Job Duties:

The operator will perform pot drossing, material handling, and clean-up task to ensure the safe and efficient operation of the equipment.

Routing the Maintenance of equipment will be performed including snout, belt, roll cleaner, striper, die and other associated equipment.

The operator will be required to assist the shift maintenance with equipment PM, break downs, and other routine maintenance

The operator will also be responsible for the efficient changeover or dies for various grid types.

Will be responsible to perform necessary quality checks and to follow the proper procedures for non-conforming product

Complies with the lock out, tag out and electrical procedures.

May perform other duties as directed by supervision

Other duties as assigned

Job Requirements:

Qualified candidates MUST have the following:

- High School Diploma/GED

• Mechanical knowledge - operate a forklift, valid drivers license
• Be able to work in a high temperature and lead base products
• Oral communication – Speaks clearly and listens attentively.

• Excellent attendance required, dependable transportation, trustworthy, respects authority

- Physically fit, able to stand, walk, bend, push/pull and lift 75 lbs repeatedly during a shift, with a can do attitude

- Must follow safety regulations and wear proper safety equipment , (steel toe boots)

- - Submit to a Criminal Background Check
