Spartan is currently hiring Assembers in the Hudson,WI area for a major manufacturer. Job Duties:
Performs one or more repetitive line assembly operations to batch or mass produce seat systems. Prevent occurrences of non-conformances in product, process, and/or systems; identify and record any problems; initiate, recommend or provide solutions and control quality.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
· Bolts, clips, screws, or otherwise fastens parts together by hand, hand tools, or powered tools.
· Works at different work stations to meet production requirements.
· Works under direct supervision on duties and tasks that are standardized, selecting from written instructions and established procedures.
· Performs inspections and tests as required by written instructions.
· Rework product, per written instructions, that have failed a product inspection and/or test.
· Serves as a resource to others in resolution of problems and concerns.
· Conducts daily cleaning of work area.
· Conducts preventive maintenance activities as required by written instructions
· Identify and segregate non-conforming materials from production area.
· Perform other duties as assigned.
Job Requirements: Proper Identification proving eligibility to work in the US
Prior experience in a production/manufacturing/industrial/construction/customer service environment is a plus
Willingness and ability to learn new task quickly
Values a team work environment and have an up beat personality and self motivated
Excellent attendance required, dependable, trustworthy, strong work ethic, respects authority
Physically, able to stand, walk, bend and lift 50 lbs repeatedly during a shift, with a can do attitude in an fast paced environment
Must follow safety regulations and wear proper safety equipment as job demands
Willing to submit to a drug screen, when required
