Spartan is currently hiring Production Workers for a local printing company in Porter, IN.
Job Description
Production Worker will work in the Art Room, Screen printing department, shipping or finishing department in a graphics company. Duties may include, but are not limited to:
•Watch machines to ensure vinyl designs are cut correctly
•Lift rolls of vinyl onto press
•Catch and stack sheets coming off the press
•Quality Assurance work
•Assist the printer at the press with materials and other duties
•Peel excess decals away from cut piece of vinyl
•Packaging product to prepare for shipment
•Inventory control
Job Requirements
•Ability to lift 50lbs
•Good attention to detail and judgment of color
•Ability to stoop, squat, bend and/or stand for long periods of time
• Willingness to do tedious work
• Have good hand-eye coordination and ability to manipulate small objects with your hands
•Have good math skills to work in shipping department
Ideal Warehouse Associate Candidates
•Relevant experience preferred
•Committed to safety at all times
•Excellent attendance
Pay Rate: $8 hour
Shift/Hours: 1st shift Monday - Friday
