We are currently hiring for Production Associates in the Jacksonville, FL area for a major seafood distribution facility.
Your pay and shift for the Production Associate will be :
Pay Rate: 1st shift: $7.79 per hour
2nd shift: $8.79 per hour
Hours: 1st shift: 6:00am to 4:00pm, Monday - Thursday
2nd shift: 4:00pm to 12:00am, Sunday - Thursday
As a Production Associate you will be :
- Receive packaging products into production area.
- Unpack bulk product.
- Prepare product for packaging
- Position product in packaging.
- Use a manual or electric scale to accurately weigh product portions.
- Use machinery to package product.
- Inspect finished product for quality.
In this Production Associate role the following is required :
- Previous experience in industrial, manufacturing or warehouse environments
- High School Diploma/GED
- Ability to lift 25lbs throughout shift and stand entire time
- Ability to work in a fast paced environment
- Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask
- Committed to safety and quality
- Adhere to quality control standards and strict sanitary and hygiene standards
- Ability to work in temperatures of 40 to 45 degrees
- Ability to work a flexible schedule (overtime and weekends)
