Spartan Staffing is currently hiring an experienced Electrician in Spartanburg, SC. This is a temporary position with excellent pay!

Job Description: Selected individual will be responsible for laying out and assembling electrical control cabinets and junction boxes. Wire machines after assembly. Troubleshoot wiring and machine process as needed. Other power and control duties including, but not limited to other assigned requirements.

Pay Rate: $16.00-$20.00/hour!

Shift/Hours: 1 st Shift – Mon – Fri – 7:30am to 3:30pm with 30 minute lunch

Job Requirements:



· Studies blueprints, sketches, drawings, manuals, and specifications, to determine dimensions for cabinets, sequence of operations, and setup requirements.

· Confers with engineers, production personnel, programmers, or others to resolve wiring or assembly problems.

· Make modifications to as-built prints and communicate with engineers on additional details essential to project success.

· Aid with suggestions on basic component purchases (wire-way, terminal blocks, etc.)

· Cabinet back panels:

1. Lay out control back panel hole locations

2. Drill and tap holes as needed

3. Mount DIN rail, wire ducts, direct mounted components

4. Mount components to DIN rail

5. Wire devices to controls prints

· Control cabinets:

1. Cutout device locations for mounting (disconnects, A/C units, HMIs, etc.)

2. Mount completed back panels into cabinets

· Pneumatic assemblies:

1. Assemble pneumatic air prep units
