Use your Sharp Analytical Skills to help us support, compile and report key information! Use data to identify trends, patterns and opportunities for the business and clients.  Engage users in analysis and evaluation of functional models and prototypes; identify dependencies and priorities. Produce, publish and distribute scheduled and ad-hoc client and operational reports relating to the development and performance of products.
 
Primary Responsibilities:
  • Responsible for the development, documentation, and maintenance of data models to support customer requirements
  • Responsible for designing, documenting, developing, testing and troubleshooting SSIS packages that implement ETL processes.
  • Responsible for the design, coding, testing, debugging, documentation, delivery and support of reports
  • Specify and/or develop processes to move data between source systems and the warehouse
  • Develop ETL audits and controls to ensure quality of data meets or exceeds defined standards and thresholds.
  • Contributes in production loads and performs root cause analysis for all load failures
  • Determines the existing state of data from completeness and quality perspective, performs gap analysis of current state and proposed new state
  • Uses data analysis techniques to validate business rules and identifies low quality missing data in existing database, recommending corrective action for data quality issues
  • Prepares on-demand analytics and ad-hoc reports
  • Transform business requirement into data requirements through collaborative work with business, developers, and architects
  • Provide support to internal/external customers on issues that arise around reports
  • Create and/or  update presentation documents and materials to summarize results
  • Ensure reports are distributed according to service level agreements
  • Provides explanations and interpretations within area of expertise.
  • Provide support in identification of members to add, update, remove from target lists (campaigns)

Requirements

Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree OR High School Diploma/GED plus 3 years of equivalent experience
  • 2+ years of work experience with data warehouse development
  • 2+ years of Microsoft SQL Server coding skills
  • 2+ years of Extraction Transformation and Load (ETL) design and development using SSIS
  • 1+ years of data integration design and development
  • 1+ years of data modeling experience 
Assets:
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Access) and MS Visio
  • Experience with data structure - XML, positional, delimited, etc
  • Experience with data analysis, mapping, data profiling and reverse engineering of databases into models
  • Experience with dimensional data modeling and warehouse design
  • Experience with Healthcare claims data models
  • Healthcare Industry experience, especially with Medicare
  • Previous experience working with remote team members
