POSITION PURPOSE
The Closing Representative Supervisor works in a call center environment in Home Depot's Measurement Services center. The Supervisor role is to provide quality professional customer service that consistently meets or exceeds Company standards of excellence and customer expectations. The position is directly responsible for creating, maintaining and improving customer relationships while being the gatekeeper between the customers, stores, and installers on a daily basis during sales and product inquiry transactions. The position is also directly responsible for motivating associates to meet and or/exceeding sales, individual call quality and various related department goals. Supervisors answer any questions or concerns asked by the customers, stores, or installers that relate to the flooring purchase experience. Supervisors are responsibility to make sure there closing reps are keeping up with the demanding incoming and outbound call volume. MAJOR TASKS, RESPONSIBILITIES AND KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
  • Review and edit of drawings in the HDMS installation program. Review and adjustment to quotes. Initiate outbound calls to customers, providing customer service by assessing customer needs and providing
  • Supervise closing reps on the floor to make sure they are motivated, and encourage to initiate outbound calls and take inbound calls from customers. NATURE AND SCOPE

    Environmental: Located in a comfortable indoor area. Any unpleasant conditions would be infrequent and not objectionable. TRAVEL
    Typically requires overnight travel less than 10% of the time

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum Age: 18 Must pass Drug and Background Check. EDUCATION REQUIRED
The knowledge, skills and abilities typically acquired through the completion of a high school diploma and/or GED. YEARS OF RELEVANT WORK EXPERIENCE - 03
PHYSICAL JOB REQUIREMENTS
Most of the time is spent sitting in a comfortable position and there is frequent opportunity to move about. On rare occasions there may be a need to move or lift light articles. ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
• Previous customer service or retail sales experience is preferred. KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES AND COMPETENCIES
• Skilled at consistently providing outstanding customer service, following through on responsibilities to customers and recovering from any errors made. • Demonstrated ability to complete projects and assignments accurately, catching errors before completion, despite a large workload, competing demands and a fast paced environment. • Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate with customers. • Ability to set priorities, plan and coordinate work activities and obtain and manager resources so that work objectives are accomplished on time. • Demonstrated knowledge of Home Depot flooring offerings. • Associates must have fluent computer skills and understanding for computer applications.
