Now is the time to make a difference! The Northwest Oklahoma Chapter in Woodward, OK is seeking a part time Major Gift Officer/Lead Specialist.
The Major Gift Officer will identify, engage, cultivate, solicit, and steward current and prospective donors, in expanding their financial support of the work of the American Red Cross. He/she will be responsible for meeting an annual revenue target by working with an assigned portfolio of donors and prospects to advance the mission of the organization and assist donors in creating meaning in their lives through giving to the American Red Cross. Will be point of contact for all Board Members as well as have a strong community presence. Works with chapter Board members, Philanthropy Committee and other leadership volunteers to identify, cultivate, solicit, and steward appropriate donors and to support their individual fundraising.
Education: BacheloraEURTMs degree or combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background.
Experience: Minimum 5 years of proven experience and documented success in fund development.
