We are currently hiring for Shipping Associate positions in the Jacksonville, FL area for a major seafood distribution facility!
Your pay and shift for the Shipping Associate Position will be :
Pay Rate: $9.00 per hour
Shift/Hours: 1st shift 8:00am to 5:00pm Monday - Friday
As a Shipping Associate you will be :
-Responsible for verifying outbound inventory matches
-Ensure load accuracy at check out by physically counting
-Maintain the required records and enter inventory data in handheld counter
-Visually inspect all outgoing vehicles (including climbing onto truck and manually opening dock doors)
-Counts pallets
In this Shipping Associate role the following is required :
- High School Diploma/GED
- Ability to lift 20lbs occasionally
- Work with a strong attention to detail in a fast paced environment
- Ability to work in a team environment
- Adhere to quality control standards and strict sanitary and hygiene standards
- Ability to work in temperatures of 40 to 45 degrees
- Prior forklift operation experience
- Prior distribution/warehouse/manufacturing experience
- Have strong math and computer skills
