BARBACK

Position Summary:

Responsible for completing menial tasks around the bar.

Essential Functions:

1. Assist bartender in setting up bar.
2. Clean the bar and equipment throughout the shift.
3. Replenish bar supplies such as liquor, juice, soda, linen, glasses and ice.
4. Remove trash.
5. Stock refrigerator units with wine and malted beverages.
6. Set up bar snacks.
7. Prepare flavors for mix drinks.
8. Proper setup of new kegs and proper storage of used kegs.
9. Perform assigned station side work.
10. Clean bar and lounge area throughout shift and at end of shift.
11. Assist supervisor with beverage inventory.

Additional Responsibilities:

- Adhere to all work rules, procedures and policies established by the hotel, including, but not limited to, those contained in the employee handbook.
- The hotel operates 7 days a week, 24 hours a day. Department schedules must accommodate fluctuating business demands and employees may be asked to work shifts other than those they prefer or normally work.

Skills and Abilities:

- Ability to lift heavy objects.
- Ability to stand for long periods of time.
