We are currently looking for a Physical Therapist Aide for an acute care rehab client in Oakland. This will be a contract position, beginning immediately. Shift will be primarily Monday through Friday, with some weekends as needed.
Essential Responsibilities:
§ Implement the care plan as established by the Physical Therapist and the physician
§ Provides individualized physical therapy treatments including therapy such as aerobic capacity conditioning, balance coordination, agility training, body mechanics and postural stabilization, flexibility exercises and gait and locomotion training
§ Provide education to patients and families
§ Communicate findings and changes in the condition of patients to the Physical Therapist
Requirements
§ At least 1 year of experience as a Physical Therapy Assistant in an Acute Rehab setting
§ Active California PTA license
§ Current BLS/ CPR certification
§ Experience with EHR preferred
