Job Summary:
CNC Machinist/ Programmer is needed to setup, program and make modifications during all phases of production. As the CNC Machinist, you will machine components for first articles or production. You will monitor quality by taking measurements, detecting malfunctions, troubleshooting processes; adjusting and reprogramming control while adhering to quality assurance procedures and processes.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Ability to read G and M Codes
- Experience setting up and programming CNC Lathes and Mills
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, diagrams, and drawings
- Experience changing Jaws and Collets
- Knowledge on making tool changes and offsets
- Familiar with Mori Seiki, Okuma, NC Saws, and Fadal's is preferred but no required
- Proficient with Caliper, OD Mic, Blade Mic, Groove Mic, ring gauges, thread gauges, and comparator
- *Experience with large parts (10" dia – 30" dia) with tight tolerance +/-.0005, flatness and parallel of .001".
