Our client has an immediate opening for experienced TIG Welders. Currently seeking expert TIG 2nd shift (2:00PM to 10:30pm M-F), 90 day Temp-To-Hire opportunity and compensation is starting at $17/hr. Candidates must be available and willing to commit to a 40-50 hour/week schedule (OT paid after 40 hours). Please send resume to briana.walsh@remedystaff.com
Requirements:
- Must be a proficient, top-notch TIG welder of aluminum and stainless, 1/8" to 5/8" thick
- Must be proficient at TIG welding, able to perform job duties and responsibilities from day one
- Must be physically able to lift up to 50 lbs. on a regular basis
- Must be able to work in a fast paced environment
- Must be able to pass a weld test
Duties and Responsibilities:
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following (other duties may be assigned):
- · Weld components and complete fabrications using appropriate TIG welding techniques
- · Erection of stainless steel and carbon steel sections using equipment to clean, prepare, cut, burn, and weld pieces
- · Set-up and measure assemblies; select appropriate method
- · Read and interpret blueprints
Education and/or Experience
High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED). Training in a certified welding program and/or four years’ experience in a production or job shop environment.
