JOB DESCRIPTION:
UPS Freight, a leader in the LTL trucking industry, is currently seeking a Windows System Administrator to support a Windows 2003/2008 environment over 300 servers including 140+ XenApp servers.
Knowledge and Skills
The Citrx / Windows System Administrator must demonstrate solid problem determination and resolution skills. Good oral and written communication skills are a must. Planning, organizing, accountability and initiative are all required skills.
Candidate should have a desire to learn new skills and be able to apply them to business problems.
Required Skills
- Must have minimum 3 - 5 years Citrix / Windows System administration and engineering experience including IIS in an environment with 20 or more servers
- Must be able to use diagnostic and performance tuning tools in a Windows Server environment
- Must have demonstrated experience supporting a Windows 2003 / 2008 R2 Server environment
- Must be able to manage Active Directory and Group Policies
- Must have the ability to create and use scripting languages, Powershell or vbscript preferred.
- Must be able to participate in an on- call rotation and may require after hours or weekend work.
Desired Skills
- Experience with EMC VNX storage arrays
- Experience with XenApp Provisioning Server and EdgeSight
- Experience working with OnBase
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, MIS, Mathematics, Information Systems, Electrical Engineering or related discipline or the equivalent in education and work experience
- U.S. Citizen or National of theU.S., an alien lawfully admitted for permanent residence, or an alien authorized to work in theU.S.for this employer
