Spartan Staffing is currently hiring a Robotic Welding Team Leader in Fountain Inn, SC. Outstanding opportunity – temp-to-hire position!

Job Description: Selected individual will be responsible for supervising workers engaged in operating welding machinery to fabricate and assemble metal products. Candidate will also interpret specifications, blueprints and work orders to determine type of welding and material requirements.

Pay Rate: Up to $22/hour, based on experience.

Shift/Hours: 1 st Shift

Requirements:

• Oversees the use of equipment and supplies to perform work in accordance with operational and quality standards.
• Analyzes and resolves work problems and assists other workers in solving work problems.
• Confers with other department Team Leaders to achieve and maintain company quality, efficiency and productivity standards.
• Performs all functions involved in the operation of robotic welders, including programming and troubleshooting.
• Programs robots to perform specified tasks, applying knowledge of programming language and PLC's.
• Modifies program to refine movement and efficiency of robots.
• Oversees the successful training of all associates in the department.
• Ensures that company safety policies and procedures are strictly followed by all associates.
• Responsible for ensuring that all produced parts conform to company quality system specifications.
• Actively demonstrates and promotes company values.

· Reports to Production Manager.

• Work with HR Manager and Production Manager regarding hiring, training, replacing, disciplinary actions, and accident investigation and reporting.
• Enforcement of FBSC safety procedures and Company policies (FBSC Employee Handbook).
• Plant/Shift start up and shutdown / Machine startup and shutdown.
• Primarily a first shift function, but must be willing to work/cover 2 nd and 3 rd shifts, or other times as needed.

· Additional duties and tasks as assigned by supervisor.

• Awareness/adherence to the ISO-9001 Quality Policy

· Awareness/adherence to significant Safety and Environmental Aspects related to area of responsibility.

• Must be responsible, dependable and self-motivated.
• Regularly required to sit, stand, walk; use hands and fingers to handle or feel objects and tools; reach with hands and arms; frequently required to bend and stoop.
• Must regularly lift 30 lbs. and sometimes lift up 50 lbs.

• Specific vision abilities: close, peripheral, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus frequently.
• Exposure to dust, odors, fumes, heat, cold and loud noise.

· Must wear required PPE (eye, foot, hearing, hands and welding shield.
