Junior Buyer

Remedy Intelligent Staffing is now hiring a Junior Buyer for a valued client in Madison. This is a fulltime temp-to-hire position working Monday-Friday 8am-5pm. Job Summary:

As the Junior Buyer, you will be working under the assistance/direction of the Senior Buyer and Head of Procurement. You will be responsible for purchasing materials, tracking inventory, performing cycle counts, running reports as well as a variety of assigned tasks and projects.

Job Responsibilities:

• Junior Buyers are responsible for purchasing materials needed to fulfill needs on upcoming orders
• Negotiate prices on materials
• You will be running daily, weekly, and monthly reports
• Adjust inventory on items not included in BOM's
• Responsible for cycle counts
• Maintain weekly production schedules
• Process paperwork for returns
• Keep up with knowledge on products, processes and materials used at the facility

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

• Ability to work well amongst a team
• Able to multi task and work in a fast-paced environment
• Experience with BOM's preferred
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suites
• Excellent Communication Skills

Education:

• High School Diploma or Equivalent required
• Associates Degree or Higher Preferred
