We are currently hiring for a Quality Assurance Lab Technician for the Franklin, IN area.

Your pay and shift for the Quality Assurance Lab Technician position will be:

1st Shift – 7:00am-4:00pm Monday through Friday; with ocaasional Saturdays

$12.00 per hour

As a Quality Assurance Lab Technician you will:

- Perform the appropriate Quality Assurance (QA) procedures and steps to verify parts meeting the individual

customers specifications and requirements

- Record findings of the QA procedure by counting parts, identifying numbers accepted, numbers rejected and the

lap tests utilized

- Perform harness testing on metal parts and review depth impressions

- May perform QA related calibration functions as directed by QA manager

- Maintain Quality logs and records daily

- Must be able to perform highly repetitive task with strong attention to detail

In this Quality Assurance Lab Technician role the following is required:

- Minimum 2 years experience working in a Quality Assurance Department in a lab setting

- Prior experience in metallurgy or working in metals testing lab helpful

- Must have the ability to understand quality documents( such as ISO/AS9 100)

- Must be able to read blue prints to determine customer specifications

- Must be comfortable operating metal hardness testing equipment such as indentron, microscopes,

micrometers, and calipers

- Must be able to take on new task and learn new concepts

- Must be able to stand or sit for long periods of time

- Must be able to lift up to 35 pounds

- Must be adaptable to various personality types and able to work within a team environment

- Must be extremely detail oriented and work safely

- Must be able to take instructions and accept constructive criticism
