We have an immediate opening for a Assistant Store Team Leader.

Must be able to work various shifts per week.

Requirements

POSITION SUMMARY:

As directed by Store Team Leader (STL), responsibilities include daily operation of an individual store location and achieving all goals and budgets set by the company.

General Responsibilities

  • Cooperates with corporate directives and corrects issues immediately
  • Delegates and follows up on daily tasks to ensure optimal store conditions
  • Enforces Company Policies & Procedures and all Federal, State, and Local Regulations
  • Assist STL to ensure compliance with financial management including but not limited to; inventory control, shrink, and payroll budget
  • Achieve Sales and Gross Profit Projections
  • Provides clear and effective communication to store team members and corporate office
  • Demonstrates and sets expectations for a high level of customer service
  • Completes all necessary administrative paperwork
  • Responsible for periodic opening and closing of store
  • In Lieu of STL, the Assistant STL will be responsible for total store operations
  • Observes and Obeys all federal, state, and local laws that govern day to day operations

Personnel Management

  • Proactive coaching and oversees training and development of team members
  • Monitor punches to ensure team members are paid properly in compliance with applicable federal, state, and local laws
  • Maintains vendor relationship to ensure proper inventory levels, sales, and Gross Profit %

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

EDUCATION:High School Diploma or GED


EXPERIENCE:

  • Minimum of 5 years related job experience in retail management
  • Knowledge of organizational dynamics

  • Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals
  • Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent, and interpret graphs

Responsible for supervision of an assistant store team leader, 6-7 department heads, and 50-70 team members. Numbers vary depending on store location.
