About this job
We are looking for a Physician's Assistant (PA-C) or an ARNP for a full time Direct Hire position at a treatment center in Olympia, WA or Grays Harbor County, WA. This provider will be responsible for various medical appointments in regards to the treatment of opioid dependent patients, and must be able to do so in a respectful and appropriate way. The right candidate would have experience either treating opioid dependent patients and/or have experience in an outpatient clinic setting, interest in working with a non-profit and business that is devoted to successful patient care!
Some of the responsibilities include:
1. Medical intake assessments
2. Dose evaluations
3. Labs/Blood draws, interpreting lab results
4. Annual medical updates
5. TdP risk assessment
6. HIV and Hepatitis C testing/counseling
7. ECG testing
8. Medical consultations with other staff
9. Alcohol/Antabuse evaluations
10. Pregnancy consultations
11. Medical assessment for impairment
12. Staffing Medical Team meetings with other interdisciplinary staff
