Spartan is currently hiring experienced CNC Machine Operators in the Savanna, Illinois area for a major national retailer. Job Description · Operating three or more CNC machines with minimum assistance to produce required number of quality work pieces, while utilizing appropriate measuring instruments and gauges · Completing offsets and major tool changes as required without supervision · Performing normal machine malfunction repairs · Working regular production as well as development work · Assisting maintenance department in basic repairs · Replacing and setting cylinders and switches Job Requirements • Ability to lift 20lbs throughout shift and stand entire time • Ability to work in a fast paced environment • Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask • Ability to work a flexible schedule (overtime and weekends) • Ability to run all CNC machines with little or no assistance • Ability to operate three or more CNC machines • High school diploma/GED • Strong organizational skills and ability to accurately complete all inspections, SPC sheets, production tickers, attaining expected production at acceptable level of scraps • Competence in all gauging instruments and data collection systems • Ability to read blueprints and part programs Ideal Candidates • Experience preferred • Committed to safety at all times • Excellent attendance Pay Rate: $12.39 for entry level, $12.40-$15/hr is based on experience Shift/Hours: 1 st , 2 nd , and 3rd How To Apply Click the apply button below, or call the branch to schedule an appointment: (815-273-1399), or send a resume to spartanstaffing7216@gmail.com Apply online at www.spartanstaffing.com Spartan is an equal opportunity employer.
