We have openings for a Tool/Machining Repair Technician in the Columbus, IN area! This is an excellent opportunity with a great company!
 
Job Description: 

Perform various tooling duties to make routine repairs to a variety of injection molds: perform machining operations and hand finishing following standard established methods and procedures.

Job Requirements:
-  High School Diploma/GED

-  Work from drawings, charts, tables and other written or verbal instructions. Use precison measuring instruments, typical tool room machine tools, hand tools, welding , girt blasting equipment.

- Open injection molds and determine with the toolmaker work to be performed

- Operate various machine tools such as milling machines, lathe, grinders drill presses, etc, Perform limited welding to repari molds,

- Instruct and assist tool technicians in the proper set-up and operation of the tool room equipment and on handling and repairing various types of injection molds.

- file, debur hand polish and grit blast molds as required

- Machine various parts for moles or for other departments or applications are directed.

- Willing to submit to drug screen and back ground check if required

Pay Rate: based on experience
Hours: Sunday - Thursday, 3rd shift
