Labor Ready is currently hiring Layout Fitter in the University Park, IL and surrounding areas! This is  a temp to hire opportunity with a steel beam manufacturer.!

 

Job Description

Welding,  steel production. Company produces steel beams / structures for large scale construction buildings, etc. Reading blueprints and laying out project for welding by specialists.

 

Job Requirements:

• ·     Welding, steel working, construction
• ·     Must be able to read blueprints and schematics
• ·     MUST have structural Steel Layout Fitting Experience – 3 to 5 years preferred

-        Physically be on your feet, able to bend, and stand for a long shift

-        Excellent comprehension and communication skills, both written and verbal

-        Steel toe boots are required.

-        Ability to work with a team and multi-task in a fast paced environment with a can do attitude

-        Must have reliable transportation

-        Background Check & Drug Screen may be required

 

Ideal Candidates:

-         Ability to work well with other people

-   Structural Steel layout fitter experience preferred

-        Committed to safety at all times

-        Excellent attendance

 

Pay Rate: $18 - $20.00 per hour

Hours/Shift: Monday - Friday 1st shift ( 40 hour week)
