Elite Serving Staff-Full time & Part time.

Currently Seeking full time & part time Banquet Servers.

A banquet server serves food and beverage to patrons and provides table maintenance and room setup and tear down. Food orders may or may not have to be taken depending on the menu selections for the event. Maybe required to serve tables using large tray, wine & beverage service and dessert trays. This position requires excellent customer service and ability to work under pressure.

Responsibilities:
§ Greet patrons and familiarize them with the food and beverage menu
§ May be required to present with food and beverage options, take orders, make recommendations, and answer questions regarding the food and beverage
§ Act as the point of contact between the patron and bar and kitchen staff
§ Serve food on large trays with 6-10 plates on each, all covered by silver domes
§ Carry wine glasses on small beverage trays
§ May require the use of a wine key to open bottles of wine per table
§ Clear tables of used dishes, glasses, silverware, and linen
§ Typically reports to a banquet captain

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
§ Customer service skills
§ Ability to follow instruction and abide by guidelines
§ Able to carry and lift up to 50lbs.
§ Ability to be on feet for 8 PLUS hours
§ Properly open a corked bottle of wine with a wine key
§ Ability to work in a timely fashion in responding to guest needs
§ Able to instruct guest as to where the facilities are
§ Desire to strive for the highest of customer service by going above and beyond at all times!!
§ Willingness to work as a TEAM!
Service:
One concern that normally rises with banquet serving department is poor customer service. Providing the highest quality of customer service is a requirement for this position 100% of the time. There is NEVER an excuse to let service standards drop, even in the event of difficult situations that are out of your control or if it is extremely busy.

"Would you like" NOT "what do you want?"
"Is there anything else I can get for you" NOT "is that all"
