About this job
Drivers are responsible for safely driving our business' 16 ft box truck, responsible for interacting with donors to receive donations including but not limited to furniture, appliances, and boxes of items. Responsible for running a scheduled route different every day. No long distance traveling necessary, all driving routes are within the greater Richmond area.
Required Skills:
► Must be able to lift and maneuver a wide variety of heavy items 50 lbs and UP throughout the work day. Must be able to maneuver furniture down a flight of stairs. Drivers have an assistant on the truck to help with lifting. Furniture store or truck delivery experience is a plus!
► Must have excellent and safe driving skills with a clean driving record. No CDL required. No accidents or speeding violations.
► Must be able to pass a drug test and a criminal history background check provided by the VA state police.
► Must be 25 or older to apply.
We provide paid leave time, paid holidays and annual raises for staff that maintain themselves professionally and work diligently. Full-time employees are eligible for benefits.
