Sales Support Specialist

Job Type: Temp-to-Hire

Pay Rate: Up to $15/hour DOE

This is a key role in the branch collaborating with various internal departments in support of the sales team and some direct support of the customer. The ideal candidate is someone who has shown a high competency in administrative positions, preferably in sales support and in the logistics industry. Candidates with excellent administrative and customer service skills, but without industry experience or sales support, will also be considered.

Responsibilities (include but are not limited to)

? Generating and processing sales documentation

? Initiating and maintaining transactions

? Assist with the bid process

? Maintaining communication between customers, suppliers and other involved parties

? Performing basic administrative duties in support of the business unit

? Maintaining department files

? Monitor shipment status

? Collaborating with other internal departments

? Flexible to perform other duties as required in support of the sales agents

Key Requirements (include but are not limited to)

? MS Office proficiency - Word and Excel

? Available to work from 9AM to 6PM, M-F

? Fast learner

? Excellent communication skills - written and verbal

? Must be fluent in English

? Excellent prior job tenure

? Must submit to a background check and drug screen

? Must be able to provide 2 positive supervisory references
