Service Technician - Full-time

Service Department Technician Position

Compensation ranging from 40,000 to $50,000 per year with excellent benefits is available to the right candidate.

We are seeking a Service Department Technician who can perform repairs and maintenance on commercial equipment with consistent high quality.


Responsibilities
* Must be able to accurately and efficiently diagnosis commercial equipment problems.
* Troubleshoot and repair of wiring and electrical systems, small engines, pumps.
* Troubleshoot and repair of small refrigeration systems.
* Use of testing equipment, Trouble Shooting Guides and manufacture's repair manuals.
* Evaluate and communicate additional repair and service needs of equipment in the service department.
* Meet or exceed service department quality and productivity goals.
* Assist other technicians and store staff when needed.
* Desire to continually increase industry and job knowledge (training/resources provided).
* Dependability and punctuality.
* Maintain clean, organized and safe work areas.
* Proper use and maintenance of shop equipment and tools.
* Occasional over time work is required.
* Occasional travel for training and other company functions.

Requirements and Skills
* Three years minimum small engine, commercial equipment or automotive repair experience.
* Three years HVAC refrigeration system repair experience.
* Ability to complete quality work on time.
* Possess a high level of technical skill and mechanical aptitude.
* Efficient and accurate diagnosis and problem solving ability.
* Ability to focus on assigned work and tasks given.
* Persistence in accomplishing goals while adhering to company policies.
* Own a basic set of mechanic's tools, air tools are recommended.
* Good written and oral communication skills.
* Professional appearance and demeanor.
* Basic computer skills.
* Minimum High School diploma.
* Pass a drug test and background check.
* Must be able to lift 50+ lbs on a frequent basis.
* Valid driver license and own transportation.
